There is no cost for National Health IT Week Partnership, though you need to be a HIMSS Non-Profit Partner member, Corporate member, or an Organizational Affiliate to participate. If your organization is not a HIMSS member, we invite you to participate as a Supporter.  We will keep you up to date on events during the Week, and your participation will be highlighted in our promotions across the industry. As Virginia’s largest public research university, George Mason University has set the standard for a bold, progressive education that serves students and communities. The Master of Science in Health Informatics program (that can be completed traditional on campus or online) is one of 127 graduate programs offered by the university. The program provides students with highly specialized knowledge and skills needed to support the adoption and use of health information systems and data analytic applications for a variety of clinical, administrative, and research purposes.

GSU offers a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies in Health Informatics and a Graduate Certificate in Health Informatics. Our students are being trained to fill the need for health informatics professionals who can serve as liaisons between IT professionals and clinical end-users of technology. Our students take courses in the Lewis College of Nursing and Health Professions and the Robinson College of Business. This unique structure allows for students to learn from experts in each discipline. Our curriculum prepares students with skills in software development life cycle, data analytics and project management to enter their new careers.

The HIT program at Lake-Sumter State College in accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Health Informatics and Health Information Management (CAHIIM). Our graduates are highly successful in obtaining entry level jobs in the field and promoting comparatively quickly. We have recently modified our curriculum to offer a course that helps prepare our students to take the HIMSS CAHIMS exam. We have benefitted from our academic affiliation agreement with HIMSS in many ways over the past four years. This year, we will have our students create a "Health IT Week" information sheet to send out to our HIT Advisory Committee along with the invitation to our fall meeting.

Marquette University's Master of Science in Health Care Data Analytics is a 30-credit, fully-online interdisciplinary program. In partnership with healthcare leaders, we continuously enhance our flexible and relevant curriculum to meet the demand within the health care and auxiliary industries for professionals with advanced training in data analytics. Students are challenged to solve real-world issues, viewing health data through the lens of the ethical and social issues around them. Texas State University offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in Health Information Management and Health Administration. Online and on-campus programs are available and accredited. Texas State is proud to be a HIMSS Academic Organizational Affiliate (AOA) and a HIMSS Approved Educational Partner (AEP).

Since founding the nation's first Health Information Management (HIM) program in 1935, St. Scholastica (CSS) has been a leader in HIM education. USI also provides an annual Health Informatics Tri-State Summit in partnership with Indiana Chapter of HIMSS (Health Information and Management Systems Society).

Designed with an understanding that new technologies and regulations are profoundly changing the roles of health information professionals, the University of Wisconsin Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management and Technology (UW-HIMT) is an online degree-completion program aimed at preparing busy adult learners for professional positions in today’s increasingly technology-based, data-driven healthcare environments. UW-HIMT is a HIMSS Approved and CAHIIM Accredited program.
