On the heels of enactment of economic stimulus and healthcare reform legislation, there is no better time for the health IT community to come together under one umbrella to examine the current policy landscape and raise awareness on the benefits that health IT can bring to healthcare in the US.

The timing has never been better to become involved and to make your voice heard!

National Health IT Week 2010 is taking place June 14th – 18th in Washington, DC. Your involvement in events throughout the week will send our nation’s policymakers a powerful message on the importance of fostering the widespread use of health IT to improve patient safety and healthcare quality.

National Health IT Week is a collaborative forum, now in its fifth year, of assembling key healthcare constituents—vendors, provider organizations, payers, pharmaceutical/biotech companies, government agencies, industry/professional associations, research foundations, and consumer protection groups—working together to elevate national attention to the necessity of advancing health IT.

National Health IT Week 2009 Highlights

National Health IT Week 2009 convened in Washington, DC – September 21st – 25th, bringing together healthcare stakeholders from across the nation in a unifying call to action for the advancement of health IT adoption with “One Voice, One Vision.”

With 152 partners representing the full spectrum of healthcare interests and the active involvement of many members of Congress, state government officials, and heads of leading health IT organizations , National Health IT Week 2009 bore witness to an unprecedented collaboration of public and private healthcare stakeholders – all focused on encouraging accelerated adoption of health IT and raising awareness of the pivotal role it can play in transforming the nation’s health system. View the list of 2009 partners.
